Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Dr. Turner German is excited to begin his chiropractic career in Fonthill at Accelerated Health & Wellness Centre. Dr. German has experience treating a wide assortment of patients from athletes to elderly patients, including post operative patients and those with chronic pain.
Dr. German completed his undergraduate degree at Brock University, where he received his Bachelor of Science, Honours, majoring in Kinesiology. He volunteered with NHS Cardiac Rehab as well as Power Cord, an exercise facility for individuals with multiple sclerosis, spinal injuries and amputations. He then continued his education at D’Youville University, where he graduated from the Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine Program.
While in Western New York, Dr. German worked as an intern for chiropractic clinics at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), University of Buffalo Neurosurgery (UBNS) and the Hageman Chiropractic Health Center. These internships allowed Dr. German to develop various chiropractic techniques, including diversified techniques, flexion distraction technique, activator and drop table techniques.
Dr. German also treats using methods such as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM), Muscle Release Technique (MRT) and low level laser therapy with intentions to also perform acupuncture and concussion management in the near future.
