Jason completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. Prior to this he attended the University of Western Ontario where he graduated with Honours in Kinesiology. He is currently a registered Physiotherapist in Canada as well as the United States.
Jason has taken additional courses in Concussion Management, Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulation, Kinesio Taping, Functional Exercise and attended the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Section Meeting in Chicago in 2013. He has also completed cervico-thoracic and lumbar certificate programs with the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute.
Jason's treatment philosophy includes hands-on manual therapy combined with a specific exercise regimen targeted to achieve all of the patient's goals. He uses a variety of manual techniques including joint mobilization, manipulation, and soft tissue techniques to improve joint mobility, tissue extensibility, and restore function. Patient education and communication are an integral part of Jason’s practice as well as advocating for client’s both in and outside of the clinic.
Jason’s goal is not only to provide effective rehabilitation but also to successfully prevent future injuries from occurring. He is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Outside of the clinic, Jason enjoys an active lifestyle that includes exercise, hockey, golf and fishing.
